European Patent Attorney, Founding Partner at COPA Copenhagen Patents

Mikkel Bender is a patent attorney at Copenhagen Patents (COPA), advising life science companies on IP strategy, filing, and portfolio management. 

He works with startups and established pharma companies alike, aligning patent protection with business goals. 

At HPS After Hours, Mikkel will share practical insights on patent pitfalls and future-proofing your portfolio. 

Jesper Lykkesfeldt

Attorney-at-Law, Founder of Lykkesfeldt

Jesper Lykkesfeldt is an attorney at Lykkesfeldt with 20 years of legal experience in life science. 

Formerly Head of Legal at Genmab, he oversaw global R&D, licensing, M&A, partnerships, and dispute resolution. 

At HPS After Hours, Jesper will address the legal nuances of patent law, as well as patent license agreements, and answer questions.

Bo Tandrup

CEO, Lophora

Bo Tandrup is CEO and co-founder of Lophora, a clinical-stage CNS biotech company. 

Bo is a pharmaceutical executive and serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience. He previously founded Alkalon and has advised Goldman Sachs and McKinsey. 

At HPS After Hours, Bo will share a real-world case from Lophora’s patent filing process.
